RoboCell
Robotic Simulation Software
RoboCell Robotics Simulation
forSCORBOT robots
opens the door to the most advanced method of robotic and robotic
work cell programming today - 3D solid modeling, windows based simulation!
RoboCell makes it possible to prepare and test applications using graphic images
of a robot and its environment, on the computer - completely off-line.
With multiple copies of RoboCell, you can have a classroom of students
writing robotic programs. Each student can test and see the
results of their program. After the program has been tested
and verified, they can take the same program and run it on the actual
robot hardware!

Contact us for a demo copy of RoboCell for the ER-4u. This offer is availble for teachers only who are located in the USA and Canada. Let us know the name of your school and address. We'll return a link that you can use to download the software.
Since the language for each robot is slightly different,
there are different versions of RoboCell to match. This demo version
will provide simulations for code written for the ER-4u. It is a
full working copy that will function for 30 days. Contact us if
you would like a demo version for a robot other than the ER-4u.
(The installation password for this program is "intelitekusb".)
There are several demo files included that you can execute. This
demo copy includes a copy of ScoreBase however, you may want to
also download a copy of the
ScoreBase users guide if you would like to create your own programs
to be processed through RoboCell.

| Integration
with SCORBASE for Windows - SCORBASE for Windows is fully
integrated within the RoboCell robotics simulation software. RoboCell is a 3D solid modeling program
for SCORBOT robots and their environment. A full simulation of the
robot in a flexible manufacturing system (FMS) can be created
and simulated utilizing the SCORBASE robotics and cell control
language. The simulation picture can be zoomed in and out, rotated,
and also be viewed - horizontally or vertically - or any angle between
them. |
|
 |
| Virtual
robotics cell - a setup screen enabling the user
to pick an image of a SCORBOT robot, as well as a variety of accessories
(conveyors, rotary tables, etc), machine tools, work benches, computers,
etc and create a full simulation of a flexible manufacturing environment.
Students can then connect the robotic system/FMS to SCORBASE software.
The setup screen enables the students to create virtual robotics
work cells, thus permitting the students to experiment with a variety
of robotics work cells in an off-line mode, even if the environment
does not exist in the laboratory. |

| Writing
Programs and Teaching Positions - Using the RoboCell
software, students can write programs to operate the robot and its
environment. SCORBASE teach mode will be used to teach robots' positions
by moving the simulated robot image to the desired locations of
the simulated cell, and then recording them. Teaching the robot
positions will be done in a similar way to teaching positions using
SCORBASE for Windows. Editing programs to activate the robot and
its environment is also done using SCORBASE for Windows editing
mode. |
|
 |
| Running
the Simulated Program - Completed programs (program lines
and positions) can be run off-line. The robot and its environment
in the simulation will execute the program, enabling the students
to test the program before it is being implemented on an actual
SCORBOT robot and environment. If any malfunction in the robotics
program occurs, it can be easily corrected. The completed
program is then used to manipulate and control the real robot and
work cell. |
